Healthy Streets is a human-centred framework developed by the Department for Transport for embedding public health in transport, public realm, and planning. The approach recognises the value of designing places for people and is based on 10 evidence-based Healthy Streets Indicators, each describing an aspect of the human experience of being on streets.
In response to growing demand from clients, AECOM has recently invested in a nationwide programme of Healthy Streets learning, with 58 colleagues having undertaken training.
